Perhaps the most obvious choice, but so delicious! I would make vanilla bean pumpkin pie.
I can see all sorts of new possibilities. First I would be using the spice to make my holiday pumpkin pies. I would also be using the vanilla beans to make my own vanilla.

I’m not very fancy. Not known for my culinary skills. Known more for my lack of them. However, I have purchased each of the types of different salts that you carry. And I put a different type in the grinder each time I refill it so that we get a variety of flavors and a variety of different nutrients that each has to offer. So mostly I have used the salts as everyday table salt. I love the colors and the subtly different flavors AND the idea that each provides different nutrients.
I am also working on replacing my spices with only those that you offer. I save the empty shaker/container and refill with MRH products.
I love you guys!
These items would make a wonderful stuffing…. but not the vanilla.
I posted the giveaway on Facebook.
posted your link to FB! i’ll spread the word anytime!
I would use the pumpkin pie spice to make my delicious butternut squash pie.
I grew pumpkins in my garden at 7800 elevation. My pumpkins were a great success and would love to use your pumpkin pie spice for my Christmas pumpkin pie.
Posted on my FB page.

With those vanilla beans I’d make my own vanilla sugar for my holiday baking and some pumpkin spice to my plain old cup of coffee while its brewing and the aroma would fill the house! The pumpkin seed oil and macadamia oil I’d swirl on a plate and add some seasonings, salt and pepper and use it for dipping bread that is hot from the oven. Yum!
I would first start with a salad and the dressing made with the pumpkinseed oil, peppercorns and sea salt (maybe the seasoning salt, too!). Then a soup made with the pumpkin pie spice (butternut squash soup) and macadamia nut oil and finally, vegan chocolate chip cookies using the organic vanilla beans! YUM!
I would make homemade vanilla and a pumpkin pie.

I LOVE your vanilla beans and would use them to make a fresh batch of damiana-vanilla cordial to add some love magic to my holiday gifts!
And studies say that Pumpkin Pie spice when mixed with lavender is the #1 scent that turns men on and the #2 scent for women. Perhaps I’ll create a damiana-lavender-pumpkin pie spice cordial and distribute freely to my friends and see what happens!

Since vegan pumpkin pie is my favorite dessert, I’d make that with the spice. I’d use the vanilla for many things…including adding it to the coffee scrub that I already make. And I’ve never tried macadamia nut oil…I’d have to experiment!
Wonderful selection that I look forward to exploring. I see desserts: pumpkin pie, vanilla bean custard with caramel sauce.
Thank you!

Thank you! Just subscribed. Shared on FB page. very excited about the vanilla and to use pumpkin and macadamian nut oil for the first time!
We love to use the sea salts to sprinkle on top of the honey sweetened dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts we make as a family every year. Pumpkin pie spice is used in a variety of dishes in our kitchen including homemade pumpkin spice lattes, hot cocoa, and many baked goods and savory dishes. The uses for the oils and vanilla beans are also varied and nearly endless. What a lovely set!
This giveaway is linked on my facebook page.
I would adore this package of items. I have never owned any real vanilla beans, so the first thing I would make is hot cocoa with real vanilla beans. Yummy! BTW I love Mountain Rose Herbs, have bought oils from you for 10 years. Thank you!
I just shared your wonderful giveaway on my facebook page.
Oh how much better would all my traditional holiday cooking be with these nummy goodies – pumpkin spice cheesecake, crescent cookies etc. Not to mention the health benefits of using pumpkin seed oil.

My Grandma’s Butternut Squash Soup.
I would make truffle oil from Oregon White truffles we just harvested with the oils
Then the sky is the limit with the possibilities we could use that oil for!
I’ll make yummy vegan pumpkin muffins
I make purees and frozen treats. The pumpkin spice would blend well with butternut squash to make a yummy soup or dip.
I cannot wait to use the vanilla beans in mu chai tea. And pumpkinseed oil would lend such a rich flavor to my mini pumpkin pies! We already use the salts when we grill steak over the fireplace.
Exotic salts are a love of mine. I use Himalyan Salt and Celtic Sea Salt. Alaea Salt would be a new salt to use and an interesting one to “play” with. I am an Artiste in the kitchen! …purees, whips, dips, and more.

I would drizzle a touch of macadamia nut oil over some fresh squash soup (made with a dash of the pumpkin pie spice), top with some freshly grated pepercorns and red salt. With this I would drink a cup a tea, sweetened with some vanilla flavored sugar. The fresh made homemade bread would still be warm and there would be a small dish of the pumpkin seed oil with more freshly grated peppercorns to dip the bread into. MMMMM

mmmmmm~yummy~ i would love to try the macadamia oil and some fresh vanilla bean in my recipe for macaroons. the pumpkin oil and spice may be a tasty addition to my raw cacao eggnog truffles and the alea salt will top off the almond cups beautifully. i was introduced to this salt when in hawaii w/ rosemary gladstar years ago. thank you for inspiring creativity and for your generosity~
I am all about taking the time to make hand-made gifts this year. I think it shows the extra care that went into the gift giving. I would infuse the vanilla beans in vodka to make homemade vanilla, then use it and the salt to make gourmet cookies (sprinkle the salt on top of chocolate cookies – yum). And use the oils, salt, and peppercorns to dress up a potluck salad. Great giveaway!

Wow, this sound incredible!!!
Untested recipe but very similar to another I have tried:
Gluten-free Pumpkin Pie with Vanilla & Macadamia/Pumpkin nutty crust:
Pie Crust recipe
1 1/4 cup organic nut & seed seed meal (in a coffee grinder grind a mixture of your favorite nuts and seeds such as almonds, pecans, macadamia nuts, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds & sesame seeds)
1/4 cup Organic macadamia nut oil from Mountain Rose Herbs
2 tbs of Organic pumpkin seed oil from Mountain Rose Herbs
1/4 cup organic cream (use thick almond milk or coconut milk for dairy-free)
1 cup shaved coconut meat
Mix the meal and 1 cup of shaved coconut with 2 tbs of pumpkin seed oil. Add the almond milk.
Pour the remainder of the oil in the bottom of a 9″ pie pan. on top of the oil spread 1 cup of coconut meat. On top of the coconut meat pour out the pie crust made of the meal.
Pat the pie crust around the pie pan press in firmly. Mix thoroughly so the spices are stirred throughout.
The Pie Filling
2 cups fresh organic pumpkin puree or 1 – 15 ounce can organic pumpkin
3 tsp of Mountain Rose Organic Pumpkin Pie Spice
3 free-range organic eggs
1/4 cup raw organic honey
1/2 cup organic whipping cream (use thick almond milk or coconut milk for dairy-free)
Mix all ingredients together. Then pour into the pie crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for about an hour. The pie should be firm when a fork is inserted into the center.
Cool the pie and serve with organic vanilla cream topping:
Topping
1/4 cup of organic Coconut Milk or whipped organic cream mixed with 1 tbs raw organic melted honey and the seeds from one fresh organic vanilla bean from Mountain Rose Herbs.

Each year at Solstice, I bake the Christmas cookies that my maternal Grandma would bake for us, when she was alive. There are ‘eggnog’-flavored sugar cutouts, gingerbread people, and date-nut pinwheels, to name a few. (All of the sweet spices above go in one or another.) I then wrap up a batch to send to my parents and each of my nine siblings and their families.
Ah, and the red salt reminds me of when we lived on Maui. Mahalo!

Fall and the holidays are a great time for spices, but I use Pumpkin Pie Spice all year around in scones, banana nut bread, roasted vegetables, and even smoothies. I’ve never used Pumpkin Seed Oil but the first thing I’d enjoy it on would be roasted yams: Slice yams about 1/2″ thick lengthwise. I’ll lightly coat them with pumpkin seed oil, lay them on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper, and sprinkle with sea salt, coarse ground malabar black pepper, top with some pumpkin pie spice and roast in a hot oven. While the yams are roasting I’ll whip up some chipotle sauce with kefir yogurt cheese, and a few chopped green onions for a dip. Yum!

Wow – hard to decide what to make. Soooo many options. I’m a huge fan of olive oil for salad dressings, so I’d likely make some type of salad dressing with the macadamia nut oil — which I’ve never used before but it sounds delicious.

Were I to win this fabulous prize, the possibilities are plentiful! Vanilla beans scream ‘creme brulee’ to me, and the oils combined with the spices, for starters would make some very unique vinegrettes for salad, or marinades for meat (like the pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin oil mixed with white wine vinegar served over slightly steamed crookneck squash and zucchini, or walnut oil with the salt and pepper over lamb)

I would use all of these ingredients to make raw truffles, except the seasoning salt, and I might even try a little pepper in them. Yum!
Irene, what a lovely and generous idea to have Holiday Giveaways. If this particular month was November I would make a raw pumpkin pudding and pumpkin bars using the vanilla beans, pumpkin spice, pumpkin and macadamian oils.
Since it is December would devise a nice spicy warming drink with the pumpkin spice, the pepercorns, vanialla beans and I’d add nutmeg and ginger to fresh coconut cream and fresh coconut milk and or fresh almond milk.
Happy Holidays to everyone.
These have my juices absolutely flowing!
Let’s see… I’m thinking tuna steak seasoned *only* with green peppercorns and red alaea salt, pan-seared for a gorgeous red interior. To compliment that: a salad made from seasoned (with MRH Seasoning Salt) cremini mushrooms sauteéd in macadamia nut oil, tossed with red onions into baby spinach and drizzled with a pumpkin seed oil and apple cider vinaigrette!
For dessert I think the only thing to compliment this spectacular meal would be a simple vanilla-pumpkin crème brûlée!
Nom.Nom.Nom. Hungry?
PS: tweeted/subbed etc.
Tweeted from @Revinski, forgot to mention that =P
We make vanilla bean ice cream w/coconut milk, and my dark chocolate bacon sea salt treats would be amped up a bit w/your red alaea salt! Of course crust-less pumpkin pie is a holiday standard around here!
