This week’s exciting giveaway is sure to keep you warm throughout the long winter months…
The allure of tea has captivated the world for more than 5,000 years. With one sip, the world became mesmerized by the powerfully restorative and delightfully quenching benefits of herbal infusions.

We will also send along one of our certified organic cotton Make Tea Not War tote bags, and this elegant 32oz porcelain tea pot. Tea is huge in our house – we have a whole shelf in our cupboard that is taken up by tea. When the weather allows we always have a hot tea at night before bed or sip iced tea in summer on the deck.
Going to post this link through my facebook now

I drink tea every day and 95% of the time it’s MRH tea. It’s so comforting now that it’s frigid outside.
Growing up in an Asian household, tea has always been part of life, like water. We had hot tea at everymeal, iced tea during the summer, and tea in the evenings with a cookie or fruit.

This week I have been drinking Forests Blend to help me with a chest cold. It is my go-to tea when I’m coughing
. Last night I remembered I have some Fidnemed Nightime tea, brewed it strong and finally got a good nights sleep w/out being woken up from the coughing.
I love getting tea at the hookah bar. The combination of the super sweet mint tea and the subtly sweet smoke is perfect.

My favorite time to drink tea is at night just before I go to bed. I settle down to read my email with a wonderful cup of chamomile tea!! It’s my way to relax!!!.
I’m not truly ceremonial about my tea but my favorite from MRH is the Organic Earl Grey. I pretty much drink it every morning, with a spoon of organic sugar, and a dribble of milk. I make it in a single serving tea ball or other stainless steel tea strainer. It became my new favorite over coffee since I can’t make a decent cup of coffee at home to save my soul.

I first fell captive to the wonderful culture of tea in England, and then even more so in India. There is something absolutely lovely about an exquisite cup of well made and crafted tea that comes out when you share it with people and enjoy the conversations and friendship that flow out of that simple cup. Beautiful.
I also shared this on facebook and subscribed to the blog. Thanks for all the wonderful posts!

I love peppermint tea. Sometimes I put honey in or around Christmas time I use a candy cane as a stirrer.
A coworker and I at my last job used to always have tea time at 10am and we’d make some hot tea during the winter months. It was delicious and warmed the soul. It was a great way to enjoy the long days of winter.
Tea first thing in the morning before everyone else wakes is wonderful. Thanks for the giveaway.
My best cup of tea was a chai in India, at Vandana Shiva’s school, Navdanya! Sipped it while looking at the foothills of the Himalayas, then a double rainbow appeared!
Making my own tea connects me to my grandmother, who was very proper and distant when she was alive. But I now understand the ritual of tea, and understand her a bit better, long after she has gone.
I have posted the giveaway on Facebook – would love to win this gift set ! Thanks (by the way I went to the UO – lived in Eugene for 5 years – loved it).
I’ve been wanting to try your teas–this would be perfect!
my boyfriend has really gotten me into good quality, loose tea and herbs. he makes the best chai with cinnamon, cloves, peppercorns, fennel seeds, etc., often from mountain rose supplies!

Also I’ve recently gotten very interested in tea, particularly Asian teas. It’s great at anytime especially at the end of a busy day.
We drink tea all of the time. We have a cupboard filled with tea boxes, but lately it seems we have been using loose leaf tea. My husband loves Yerba Mate (this has helped him cut down on coffee), and I use tea mostly for healing and digestion.
My Mom was British so that’s where I got my love for tea. My faves are most kinds of rooibos, earl grey, and honeybush. I have a favorite 12 oz mug without a handle that also works as a handwarmer!
My favorite tea memory is walking to an Asian store in our neighborhood with my husband a couple of days before our wedding, and being offered a tea ceremony. We were there for nearly three hours. The tea and blessings we received for a beautiful marriage were a beautiful and surprising experience I’ll never forget.

When I was little my Dad made a pot of Earl Gray every Saturday morning and I would have a mug with half tea, half milk, and a few spoonfuls of sugar with my breakfast. It made me feel very grownup to drink what he was drinking. I still love Earl Gray because it brings back memories of chilly Saturday mornings.

My favorite memory of tea making was watching my daughter make it for me and blend different kinds of herbs to make me better when I had a cold. She’s an herbalist in the making… It actually helped me and I saw the stirrings under her skin. Yeah, I love it.
Vanilla rooibos sounds wonderful, as does the rest of the giveaway. I drink at least 2 cups of tea each day. This would prize would definitely not go to waste.
Teas are my absolute favorite way of taking my “green” meds! Whether a physical or emotional dilemma, tea has a way of making everything right again! From growing, drying (or fresh!) brewing and sipping… the entire event is so very soul pleasing!
I love tea. I have had the Firefly Chai and the Vanilla Rooibis and I am a big fan. I hope to be able to try more teas from Mountain Rose.

Hello, I’m also a subscriber. Tea is a “must” for me in the last three years whetever time or season. My favorite tea that I enjoy mixing in winter is anised, cloves, ginger, star anise, cumin, aniseed and ironwort. Is just great….TRY IT.

I love curling up on cold days with a giant mug of tea – black with sugar and milk or lemon, herbal tea, green tea – doesn’t matter. I love curling my hands around the steamy mug to keep warm and inhale the delicious scent of the tea.
I’m an all day tea drinker. In the morning a nice hearty full bodied black. Followed by a green or Oolong at lunchtime. I love to try the fruit flavored Mango,Coconut, anything interesting for variety in my afternoons. Then at dinnertime I switch to the digestive (mint) blends or a sleepytime blend after dinner to get me ready to wind down.
I love vanilla rooibos! My favorite sipping experience involves sitting in the living room with my cat, dog, and husband and putting my face over a large cup of steaming rooibos and inhaling. It’s like a facial and aromatherapy. My pets like it if I pet them after having my hands on the warm cup as well. I’m a subscriber! I hope to win this one:)Yum.
Posting on facebook!! what a great giveaway!
My favorite tea sipping experience is sharing a cup of tea with my daughter. She is only 5 months, so she doesn’t actually drink the tea, but she just loves to chew on my cup

My Grandmother was English so I grew up in a tea drinking household. Today tea is my comfort drink and it brings the most wonderful memories with each sip.
Oh wow, this would be a great gift!! I love tea!! For the last couple of years I have been making gifts for my family, once I made some lavender and chamomile tea in containers along with a tea strainer, it was a big hit!!

I love every tea I have ever tried though it took awhile on some. I love flavored green teas, kombucha, rooibos, and any in between. The one I love the most is making kombucha. It just seems kinda scientific to me
My most memorable tea moment/experience was in Nepal in 1007 when we were trekking into a very remote people group in Mugu District. On our route, we would stop at each ‘tea house’ and enjoy the steamy, piping hot Chai-tasting tea. It would be served to us liberally in a metal cup with no handle, which required one to burn one’s hands holding it or put on the mittens. The flavor was exquisite, causing me to research and purchase the ingredients when I returned home…….to make it. Each time I sipped a cup of it, my mind would return to all those magificent memories of the people and land of Nepal. Ingredients: Black Tea, Milk, Sugar, Cloves or Cardamom seeds, Ginger, Cinammon and Black Pepper.
correction: 1997, not 1007
I love tea! My favorites are green tea & peppermint tea. I’ve even made my own peppermint tea with leaves from the plants in my backyard.

I love to sip teas out of a special tea cup my grandmother gave me. It’s so dainty and pretty and makes me slow down and take stock of the day.
Our whole family loves tea, we drink it all through the day. My personal favorite is your Dawn Chorus Tea.
My favorite tea experience is from when I was a kid. My best friend would come over, and my mother would make us real sassafras tea and let us use her nice tea cups. If it was during the holidays, we would always stir the tea with blueberry candy canes and watch the tea change color. To this day, sassafras tea and blueberry candy canes makes me think of my childhood. <3

I love making ginger tea. Especially when I have a cold!
I first had my sip of hot tea on a train in Europe with my grandparents and 2 cousins when I was 14. Such good memories from that trip! I now drink tea daily as a retreat from the chaos of my messy house from having 2 toddler boys!

My grandma used to have a small cabin in northern Minnesota that we would sometimes visit as children. When I went back as an adult, I would sit on the dock with a mug of English Breakfast tea – the same old mug each time – and watch the sun rise and listen to the loons. Today I use that same mug at home and the feel of it and the smell of the tea bring me back to that special place in my heart.
I helped care for my mother during her final year before she passed. I have lovely memories of us sipping tea. I would imitate a British accent as say, shall we have a spot of tea?. My mother enjoyed that especially she she would comment that people often thought she looked like the queen of England.
For about a year I was in the habit of drinking raspberry/nettle tea every evening before bed. It was a relaxing treat and I think I’d like to try it again
Right now I’m enjoying daily cups of your roasted dandelion tea – yum!

One of my favorite tea experiences was being offered coveted sips of rare and ridiculously expensive teas by two tea aficianados I one day serendipitously met at a book store.
Another great memory was the yucky look on my baby’s face the first time she sipped chamomile tea. She loves it now
And a last tea memory…I remember the first time I tasted chai–I’ve never been the same since!
My favorite tea experience is when we had a Yule Tea at our house years back and had friends over and did tea reading, I made the true Scottish Shortbread from my family line (I am VERY scottish, lol) and we had a great time.

My most favorite memories of tea sipping are when I was a young mother of 4 children … I lived in the middle of “no where”, and I home schooled my children. One of the fondest memories I have is when me and one of my best friends would get together on the weekend for a short while and drink teas together. We both didn’t have much money, so drinking tea together was a total pleasure and indulgence. We save up to get teas, and always would fall back to our mutual favorite, Earl Grey …and our second runner up was Chai. Thank you for offering the giveaway. Drinking tea is still one of my most favorite things to do!!! I haven’t found one I don’t love!!! Merry Christmas! Barbara

I love growing my own teas, I started a business this year. I love seeing the healing properties and helping other by natural means. I use mountain rose as one of my suppliers. thanks!!
I go through tea like crazy. My favorite right now is anything with vanilla in it, Honeybush or Rooibos. I have yet to try MRH tea but will buy some in my next order if I don’t win this contest…but I hope I do!

It is so much fun and we love trying new teas, researching health benefits, and catching up at the same time!
A tea comment. Many to choose From. The first time I had a pot of Pu-erh it was with my future husband. We had only known each other a couple of weeks, but had already begun playing music together most days. We met at a little tea shop in sebastopol california and talked reincarnation.
One of my favorite past times is to grab a blanket, a good book and some tea. My favorite blend is hibiscus flowers, green tea & agave nectar. This tea is such a sweet treat. Thank you for having such exceptional herbs & teas!
I love drinking tea. I particularly like making my own cinnamon and ginger. I like using fresh ginger, this is a very nice warming teat and it keeps colds away ;o)
I have so many great memories of tea, where to begin? An early memory was the threshing party many years ago – my cousin and I were in charge of the tea/water wagon. We hauled sweetened, iced, mint tea and water to the field workers using a horse-drawn cart. Then, there’s any snowy day in front of a wood stove, with a good book or seed catalog and a steamy cup of tea. I like almost any tea that I meet!
My favorite tea moment was at my 25th birthday last January. I threw vegan tea party for my family and friends (just the girls though)and hand prepared all the treats and eats! Everyone had their own pretty tea mug and got to try some of the more exotic teas. I love flowering teas!

The kettle is always at the ready on the stove waiting to boil water for tea. It’s the first thing offered anyone when they come to the house. There are 2 tea pots, One for hot tea and the other (slightly larger) for making iced tea. There is one full shelf in the cabinet for teas. We like coffee, WE LOVE TEA!
I learned about Mountain Rose from my MaryJane’s Farm magazine! I have already picked up several ideas after subscribing to this blog. Wonderful!
We’re big tea drinkers at my house. First thing I drink in the morning and when I walk in the door after work I go straight to put on the kettle. One of my favorite things to do on these cold winter evenings is to brew up a pot with half chai and half regular black tea with my mom and drink it by the fire. I recently got a pumpkin spice tea that’s becoming a holiday favorite as well!
I’ve just started drinking tea with some seriousness, for health reasons. Never been a huge fan, but now I understand why! Those grocery store tea bags just don’t compare to real tea. I ordered several of your organic green and white teas and they just got here a few weeks ago. Revelation! I love the green and brown rice tea especially on a calm, quiet night. I think I’ll be expanding as a tea drinker; I can’t wait to see what a “real” black tea tastes like!

tea is a staple in our home ..my family all loves tea..I make at least a 1/2 gallon of iced tea a day for my hubby to take to work with him…would love to try some of your teas
I absolutely LOVE tea and there are so many stories that I can share. However, for this year I believe the most memorable for me was making tea for the first time using herbs in my back yard (slowly growing an herb garden). It was made out of chamomile, lemon balm , and chocolate mint. It was really nice to be able to make and consume something that I had grown myself and I am excited to try different combination next year!
i quit coffee for tea. i quit hot cocoa for chai. i always order my supply from mountain rose! tea for two, and two for tea, and tea for me, and tea for me! tea please!
OH! i twittered about your teas and gave you likes and links on FB!

I just love tea.. It my way of connecting to everything green and wonderful in the world..Not to mention that it’s tasty!!
I posted this blog/contest on my fb. I have so many wonderful team moments to think back on over the years. One recent moment with tea, was last month. I had reconnected with an old friend from 4th grade, and was over her home visiting. It had been years since we have talked, over 10, actually. She showed me her clear glass tea pot, and she began preparing tea. She has a degree in herbalism, as she pored the water, she was teaching me a bit about some blend of Chamomile we were going to consume. We sat down and slowly sipped, and savored our tea…our two children ran around playing some made up game. They are the same age as us when we use to play together. It was a nice day. peace
I’m a new subscriber…very excited about your blog!
My little sister and I started having tea parties with chamomile tea when she was a toddler. When my daughter was born, my sister gave her a tea set. My daughter and I have been sharing tea parties for over five years now. We enjoy all kinds of herbal teas. Our mother/daughter tea chats are very special.
Having tea is the waking up ritual in our family. Whomever gets up first, makes tea for everyone and we greet the day together.

My favorite tea making experience was the first time I made Sun Tea. It was with my little brother last summer. We picked out the tea together, filled the mason jar with freshly gathered spring water (we have a drinkable stream by our house) and then filled the jar to the brim with berries and lemons. So wonderful! Perfect refreshment for those hot summer days in Portland, Oregon

I love tea. I had to quit drinking coffee about a year and a half ago, and was so upset, thinking that tea could never fill it’s spot. It has more than filled that spot! LOVE tea!

I love tea. I have a cup of Chai in the morning. Then I drink green tea the rest of the day. I love to browse the tea section in stores.

I posted a link to the Mountain Rose Herbs blog giveaway #3 on my Facebook page.
It’s so hard to choose a favorite experience- I love tea and love every moment with it, but one experience that stands out is when a friend from Japan performed a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, and I was invited! It was so peaceful and beautiful.
I shared on Facebook! Love your products!
I just recently subscribed to your blog so I am very anxious to learn about all the teas and other things you offer. I have been an orange pekoe tea drinker in the past but just learnt to love nettle tea esp with a little bit of peppermint essential oils in it!!!
I’ve posted a link on my facebook page as well.
I love Mountain Rose Herb tea. My coop Three Rivers Market Knoxville, TN carries it!
My Grandma looks amazing for her age and when people ask her secret she says “Stay out of the sun, moisturize at night, and drink tea”
I will follow those rules to my grave!
I tweeted this link as well.
What a fabulous gift! We love tea in our house and just ordered a bunch from MRH. We have enjoyed it together as a family and have dedicated our new Hoosier cabinet to teas, herbs and other natural remedies – mostly from MRH!

I enjoy having friends over & talking & sipping tea!
I actually have the same exact little teapot as in your picture, except in a beautiful shade of blue. It belonged to my children’s grandmother before she passed away. Tea is a wonderful, warm comfort this time of year – thank you for such a nice giveaway!
my favorite tea making time is spring when I am out picking flowers. I love making tea from flowers
Love having tea before bed. Usually have lavender or sometimes a cinnamon tea. Have been perusing your selection and they sound heavenly
I love Mountain Rose Teas! They are so fragrant and soothing. I like to mix the blends, a dash of the Hibiscus, with the Vita Blend and a dash of the Ancient green tea. Really great when you are suffering through a cold, like I am. Sinuses drain and relief comes.
What I really enjoy is knowing the people who run the company are truly earth conscious and compassionate. The type of people that make this world a better place. The type of people I wish were my own neighbors.
I’ve just been introduced to the joys and wonderful taste of MRH loose teas. My very first tea ordered was a Jasmine Green Leaf. I also got a celestial basket mug strainer for brewing the tea. I thought I was getting a “tea ball” but I actually like this much better.
Years ago a friend gave me a mug hand painted with beautiful wildflowers that had a lid on it and I could never understand why. Now I know that it helps keep the important constituents with the tea rather than going up in the steam. I had never used the mug until now and am really enjoying drinking my tea from it as well as having fun brewing teas. Tonight I’m making a chamomile tea while watching the “special showing” of the Numen documentary on HerbMentor.com.
After the documentary is finished I will be ordering your Blossoms of Health Tea. Can’t wait to get a chance to taste that one.
Happy Holidays to all the MRH staff.
One spring, I took my morning tea daily in my garden as a part of an experimental Gratitude meditation. Needless to day, many magical things resulted.
I just subscribed to the blog! My husband and I are big tea drinkers. Jasmine is my favorite and I love ceylon as well.
My favorite moments in tea is using my stackable teapot and saucer I got from my Grandmother In Law and thinking of how she taught me how to knit. I love teat time : )
My favorite tea sharing experience, was this past summer. Where I travelled to England for the first time and enjoyed real “english” tea with my boyfriend.

My favorite tea sipping experience…there are so many, which to pick? I’d have to say, studying the way of tea in kyoto for a year and sipping matcha each day probably takes the prize for me. These days, sipping some tea with the clients I assist is equally an honor.

Hey I posted again on my FB page. Good luck to me!! Thanks Mountain Rose!
Ooh, favorite tea experience? probably the first time I made a pot of blooming-flower-style tea. It still fascinates me to this day!
I associate tea with sailing on a cold, rainy night. Going below, lighting the stove and brewing a hot cup. All’s well…

My most memorable tea making event was when I was first trying out making my own blends. I wanted to use hops and my herbalist suggested to not to use too much because they tasted like cheese. I thought she was crazy, how could tea taste like cheese. I found out that was a really good description for it the hard way!

I enjoy drinking a nice warm mug of Mountain Rose Herbs Ancient Forest black tea with the first light of day beaming through the window early in the morning. Such a wonderful way to start the day.
I’m excited about the latest contest, too.
Just wanted to let you know that I signed up for your blog.
Also, my favorite tea experience is: anytime I can have high tea with my mom in Florence, OR. There is a wonderful antique shop that does seasonal high teas throughout the year. The food is delectable, the tea is cozy and comforting, the surroundings are fun, and the chats with my mom are what really make the whole experience special. It’s one of our favorite things to do together!
I subscribed to your blog. Thank you for the kind giveaway! I love tea!
Super LOVE Earl Grey w/ Rose petals! Going to post about your giveaway on FaceBook right now!
The ritual of tea drinking is exceptional, and teaches me to slow down & enjoy each moment! I use tea for keeping our family well throughout the Winter months, & it is a daily ritual in our family! Fantastic giveaway.
Tea is my comfort drink, the teas in that bag are just the ones I would choose. My dining room color is Burgundy! That tea pot would look right at home in my dining room!
I subscribed to your blog! I sure could use some Irish Luck right about now
Just posted it to Facebook! I love Mountain Rose Herbs!!!
Yesterday my memory went back to the mornings at Schumacher College where I did my Masters and the fresh ginger tea that my close friend and I would share each morning. Whomever made it to the breakfast area would brew up a batch for the both of us… was lovely on the winter mornings.
Mmmmmm…. Tea. I cannot stand coffee (not even the smell!) but I have a weakness for tea. Herbal blends are my favorite, but I also enjoy various black teas. My favorite way to enjoy a cuppa is to settle down in my antique rocking chair on a blustery day, and just reeeeelaaaaax.
I’ve posted a link to your Giveaway on my Facebook. Love your products!!! Thank you.
Hi<<<<>>>Just found this online. I am looking to try some natural products for my face like rose water, the fullers clay, natural beeswax and tea. I have really dry skin in the winter. There are a few blackheads around my lower lip that have been bothering me for a few months now and I cannot seem to get rid of them. Now I have to wait until payday. Cu all soon. P.S. I wanna win too!

My son had a cup of Lipton yesterday after being outside with the dogs. He started asking about different types of tea and I told him that we’d try some loose teas to see which ones he likes. We just made body powder and my herbal kit is on the way. I’m glad I can share the gifts nature has to offer with him.
Tea on a cold, sleety night in Illinois! What a joy! Thanks for providing such great blends.(And the bag goes with my peace sign in my front yard:)
My favorite part of drinking tea is finding a new blend to enjoy at work. I’m constantly trying something new.
and I THINK I’ve subscribed, but not sure.
Tea is more than drink alone. It is a ritual of companionship and caring. It is a healing liquid of constituents to nourish and heal. It is time to relax and sip while you take time for yourself. That is what tea is for me.
Drinking “Peace Tea” my first tea from RMH out on the back deck of our old farmhouse sitting in the morning sun.
I think my favorite Tea is Dawn Chorus, I just never realized roses could taste so wonderful and refreshing. My best tea experience is when I take a cup of Dawn Chorus out to my favorite chair early in the morning, when no one is up but me and the animals and we sit together and watch the rest of the world wake up slowly while I sip my tea and feel it slowly refresh my body and spirit to start the day.
Blessings & Happy Tea Drinking,
Patricia Watkins

My favourite tea right now is mixing green tea leaves with cloves. Soothing & seasonal!
I love to share my tea with my mom on winter evenings sitting on a bed and have a chat over nothing important.
I loved drinking honeybush tea when I was pregnant. It’s so earthy tasting.
Each time I brew a pot of tea it brings calm and civility to my life. I get my cup ready, a good book, fix the pillows on the couch just so, grab a blanket if it is chilly, heat the teapot, boil the water, brew the tea, cover the brewing pot with the cutest chicken inspired tea cozy made by a local chicken owner, bring it all to the couch and settle in for a bit of heaven. Just after I pour the first cup I call for a Kitty or puppy or both/all to join me. mmmm Heavenly.
Sassafras leaves and root are rockin’ my tea world right now. Sassafras is my ginger of the southeast!
Awesome giveaway!

This past spring after a long cold winter here in the ozarks, we had a gorgeous sunny day, perfect for tea. So i brewed a pot of green tea in a pretty handpainted tea pot from Japan that I picked up at the resale shop, and enjoyed the moment-sitting at the picnic table with a lovely cup of tea with homemade cookies
I no longer post on facebook or twitter, but I did post a link to your giveway here on blogger

Chai tea, the kind that you brew, not the powdered (of course!) is a perfect blend. I also love Genmaicha, as a nice little varied green. Jasmine is happy. All the herbals for whatever ails me…
I posted to my facebook page and naturally I’m leaving a comment on here. Would love the warming stash of teas.
Cheers!

My Sis loves to drink tea and although I am not an avid tea lover, I love that it is something we can share because otherwise we are complete opposites. It’s something we bond over.
I missed the first two giveaways, but no way am I letting this one get by my tea-lovin’ self without tossing my cup in the ring!
My favorite tea sipping experience was the first time I drank Dream Blend. It just happened that as I settled in to enjoy my first cup of it, an episode of PBS’ program “NOVA” came on titled, “What Are Dreams?”
(And I had nice dreams that night, too!)
I also subscribed to your blog.
my favorite tea experience was at a day spa… after my treatment, i was given a small cup of tea with a filter insert that i removed after a few minutes. it was so neat and compact, it was like opening a cup of treasure.

Hi! Saw your link posted on facebook- followed it and have fallen in love with this company. Just subscribed to the blog. Yay!! =)
I just finished subscribing today. My favorite tea making and sharing experiences are with my mother and sister. Especially when we find a great new tea. My most recent memory was when we discovered Dragoneye Oolong while out to dinner.
I really want to try the Firefly Chai!!! But sadly it’s all sold out.
Oh, how I love tea. I can’t go a day without at least one cup, and most recently have enjoyed simple hot German chamomile with local honey, which my 7 year-old even likes!
When my husband comes home from working outside and I make him a hot cup of tea. We sit down and talk about the day. Thank you.

I posted a link about this giveaway on my FB page. I enjoy a cup a green tea in the afternoon instead of coffeee.
Just shared this post on my FB page and will get it up on my blog this evening. Weather is turning colder here. Tea would be splendid! Aaaah!
My most memorable tea experience was sipping tea on the patio of the hotel the morning after my Literary Landscapes class had arrived in Lewes, England. It was sunny and warming, and the women I was with taught me how to properly add a ‘spot’ of milk to my morning tea… follow by a week filled with gatherings with English children’s book authors and tea in their gardens. Memories I’ll cherish forever.
The first tea I ordered from MRH was Oregon Chia. I of course love it. After drinking it I would chew on the cloves and those green pods. When I bit into the pod I tasted my favorite flavor ever, Cardamom! Since then I purchased a pound of Cardamom to make tea and just eat the seeds.
I tweeted this exciting giveaway!

My favorite part of every evening is curling up with a cup of herbal tea. I love to sit and smell the steam coming out of the cup before taking a sip. Aromatherapy and tea therapy all at once.
tea has been a part of my life for a long time…throughout my stressful working years, through pregnancy, and postpartum, and new mommyhood… different herbal teas have been my mainstay. I am grateful for the (mostly) green goodness they impart…my favorite is nettles, so nurturing and healing…mix nettles with anything else and it makes for a great cup of tea, including your blends.
I love sipping tea by the fire, indoor or outdoor, in a nice ceramic cup, or my titanium hiker’s mug…so warming, reflective, inviting…tea enhances any experience, especially green tea and chai blends…
I never had a true admiration for chai until I went to India for a while..chai is a daily mainstay and everyone drinks it. i loved watching them make it in huge pots on the streets, then drinking it in small glass cups..hoping they were clean…. they also use disposable chai cups to go… beautifully made of clay disposable cups….it is truly an art form I long to emulate when making chai, and a good chai blend is hard to find… i can’t wait to try yours!!
My husband and I drink tea everyday! (From herbal to black we run the gamut.) And recently we bought a pound of MRH Lapsang Souchong, a hard to find and unusual smoky black tea, which we love steeped 1:1 with lavender. I also try to drink red raspberry often, looking forward to when MRH is stocked up again. I enjoy reading the blog and subscribed today. Thank you MRH for providing high quality and valuable products.

I love love love Mountain Rose Herbs
I love the ritual of making tea just as much as drinking it, when friends come over I put so much love into each cup!!
A great contest! I have already subscribed, and I have already tweeted about the contest.
I love tea. It is such a calming activity to make it as well as to sip it. The process of making tea gives me an amazing sense of peace.
My love for “tea” goes back to my childhood, when “tea time” was my favorite play activity. My gramma would spread out a nice tablecloth on the table, and put “tea” in my little play teapot, and I would have tea with my favorite dolls. I guess it is times like these that are my fondest memories associated with tea, even though it really wasn’t tea in my teapot. It was the memories that inspired me to learn more about tea in my adulthood, and that turned me into the tea drinker that I am today.
mmm tea Sharing on Face Book right now.
Tea how civil, how calming, how warming to my soul, healing my body and mind, exciting my tastebuds, thawing my chilled hands, perfuming the air I breathe. Tea…..

Just posted this to my Facebook page!
The teas that are included are some of my favorites, with Peace tea being number 1!
I posted this to my facebook wall. Pretty new to tea, so this contest is exciting!
Many great memories of drinking tea (mostly milk and sugar) with my grandma and great great Aunt who celebrated “tea time” every day when I was a little girl, with my own kids and their little china tea sets, and now tea parties with my own grandchildren who have special tea sets of their own. I start every day with a prayer, a meditation, and my Peace Tea! A true spiritual awakening. Thank You Mountain Rose.
My favorite story about tea is how I started drinking it. We lived in Scotland for three years and didn’t have a car there. So, every Friday morning, I would push my daughter (and eventually my son too!) to church, which was about a two mile walk. And you know I rarely left on time, so it was a fast walk. The only beverages they served at play group was either tea or coffee and the British put milk in their tea. So, since I didn’t like either one of those options, I decided tea was the lesser evil of the two and asked them to put milk and sugar in mine. I slowly started to love it. Another story is that every day at 3:00pm at the office where I worked in Scotland was tea time and we’d all have a cup of tea and a biscuit (a.k.a. cookie). It always tasted so good.
I bought some quiet child and love that my 9 month old LOVES it

Oh Mountain Rose how wonderful you guys are! I used to own a small teahouse called Mademoselle Noelle’s Fortune Tea House, in Portland Oregon. I used only your teas in my personal blends that I sold there. My tea shop was not only a place that made a good cup of your tea, it was also a place where I’d read one’s tea-leaves and divinate people’s futures. I found that your black teas worked the best for this! Your wonderful teas and herbs were at the foundation of many peoples’ stories and sometimes lifechanging experiences at my little shop. Thank you for being a part of that! Happy Holidays guys!

I love my tea in the morning.
I posted to FB, too.
I love tea and as a budding herbalist I try to make herbal tea whenever I can. We had a dinner party and to go with dessert I made a pot of lemon verbena tea because it smelled so good. Everyone had a cup as they ate their cake in the living room. Hours later I woke up where I had been sitting and everyone was asleep. I had knocked the whole group out with my tea. We all laughed about it and now instead of picking my herbs for my teas from my yard I order them from Mountain Rose so I know what I am serving : )
My happy tea drinking tea memories are with my Grandmother. When I was small my grandmother
always had a tea for everything that allied us. Peppermint tea for belly aches, Orange tea with honey and lemon for a sore throat, and Ginger tea for the flu. I drink a least a half a gallon of ice tea a day but never hot tea unless I’m sick. What better feeling is there remembering your grandmother taking care of you as a child with cups of hot tea? Is it the tea that makes me feel better or the sweet memories of her?
Love Love Love your products!!!! I absolutely ADORE your tea blends. Not only are the wonderful to sip, but i usually leave the last tablespoon or so and pat it on my face as a toner. Oh, and I became a believer in your Fidnemed Tea, man, will that thing knock you out! Mahalo (thank you) for putting so much love and care into all of your products. I am a lifetime customer. =)
I have been drinking Jasmine green tea for 29 years! Love it and just ordered some more from Mountain Rose.
I’ve subscribed to your blog!! I love your products btw! They were fantastic during labour with my son
I love genmaicha tea, real chai tea, and also peppermint tea for headaches! Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
I am a new subscriber to your blog – please enter me in the contest. (I’ve another entry coming as well)
One of my favorite ways to enjoy tea is to have my daughter and her teenage friends over after school. They are usually in need of an activity to switch their thinking over from school and love to come and pick out their blend according to their mood that day. Sometimes they are feeling spicy, fruity or maybe will need something to calm them down from a crazy day. I usually seize the moment to share some herbal wisdom then sit down to let them teach me some of theirs.
I just love herbal teas! and finding new combination ….very rewarding <3
Love to try MRH's blends soonnnnnn
Blogged about it on my Blog – YouLookGoodinGreen.com

What a great way to introduce people to your products and information.
I have a very sentimental story about tea … our oldest daughter developed a major speech problem when she was 2yrs old – in fact she had lost her speech almost completely for no explaination. Therapy she was recieving from the local school district consisted mostly of sign language (so she could continue to communicate) but when it came to sitting and doing her facial & voice exersizes she was the typical 2yr old – to squirmy to sit long enough.
I discovered that she would sit for tea with mom though – so while having our tea we would do such things as blowing to cool the tea (lip exersizes), licking jam from her chin & frosting from her nose (tongue exersizes), and practicing her sounds while drinking in the cup … while many would consider all this poor manners, her therapist was amazed at how quickly she began to develope once regular teas were introduced.
Even after her speech became “normal” we continued to have our teas as a smoothing/calming time of day for her. Even to this day (she is almost 19yrs old) she loves to make a pot of tea whenever she wants to sit and just be-together even if there isn’t anything to say.
Tea saved my daughter’s speech in my mind … it will always be special to us.
I love having many kinds of loose bulk herbs in my cabinet and making up my own herbal tea blends. I’m hoping to have more luck enticing my children to drink tea, but so far my daughter (3 yo) enjoys her nighttime “owl” tea
I feel a tea party in my future!

I drink tea all day long. I make two cups when I 1st walk into the kitchen in the AM and make my last cup shortly before bed. I’m never without a cup in my car. Your teas are exceptional. Thank you.
I recently subscribed to the blog! I finally got my password!:)

My favorite tea story..wow that’s an easy one! I grow “chocolate mint” in my bog garden (it grows like crazy there) and I harvested a nice little bunch the first year (after being given a few starts from my mother and sister). I dried it in my dehydrator and promptly made myself a cup of tea. My kids couldn’t believe what I was doing until they tried it! Nobody drinks hot chocolate anymore around this house, they all drink the “chocolate mint” tea. It is also at the top of Christmas wish lists for others that I have shared it with!
I am a Mountain Rose Herbs fan and have been for several years. I just shared your blog contest on Facebook and tempted people with a description of my favorite tea from MRH, Lapsong Souchong. It is by far the best Lapsong I can find anywhere and a freshly brewed pot of Lapsong for elevensies makes my day complete.
Thanks Mountain Rose Herbs for your high quality products and a good price.
Kris
MRH tea is so good, I give it as the most special holiday gift.
I immediately thought of the first time I had mate (accent over the e)! My Mom and her family is from Chile and I was about 5 when I remember being included in the circle at a family party. Mate is a communal tea drunk out of a gourd with a perforated metal straw called a bombilla. It gets passed from person to person back to the host/hostess to refill water. I will never forget the green, earthy thickness of the tea…still a favorite 25 years later. Tea is commonly shared every afternoon with family in Chile, and though I grew up in Massachusetts but was blessed to have my grandparents in the states when I was a girl…learned how to brew a proper cup of tea from my Mamita!
Everyone comments on it!
And the slogan make tea not war is a favorite. I got a freebee bumper sticker of it at the WHC and put it on my 2 year olds play kitchen (which we recycled from a neighbor and didn;t have original stickers left
I switched my husband over to iced herbal and red teas to replace the juice and soda he was drinking at home and especially at work. Not only is he getting all the herbal goodness but now we’ve drastically reduced the sugar and calories he consumes. As a result, he has easily lost several pounds! Simple, easy, tasty and healthy. I rotate several flavors and make a ‘concentrate’ of tea that he dilutes with water. We use the Trinitea to make these large batches. His favorite is Honeybush.
Posted a link in my blog in the top right panel: http://perfectskincareforyou.blogspot.com/
my favorite tea experience is always having a pot of tea at the teahouse in Bonn. the weather outside was miserable more days than not and I would order a vanilla tea. I’d get that lovely sugarcookie, a pot on a flame, white porcelan, a cup so delicate I’d hesitate to purchase for my own home rmapant with kids, no music just the murmur of other tea lovers taking refuge from teh bustle outside, a drop of milk…and at the end of the pot, I#d ususally have a little bit milk over and some teasteeped sugar at the bottom of my cup a really HOt drop of tea, hardly anough to call it a true cup but just enough to flavor and heat up the sweet milk…..AHHHH…I had no Idea how special it was until I moved away…
Just subscribed! Love MRH. I’ve been buying products for about 5 years now. Would love to win some tea!
I love tea time! That happens three for times per day for me!
Nothing beats going for a ski, then coming home and cuddling up with a hot cup of tea. I love your herbal tea blends!
I love all your teas! Hard to pick just one. If I had to I would pick the Mango,,, yum.
My favorite tea is chamomile. Also during pregnancy I love red raspberry leaf tea.
In the summertime, I love to make sun tea in a large glass jar. It seems extra special when it is ‘brewed’ by pure sunlight. Now, in this cold weather, I like to enjoy a nice cup of hot herbal tea. Sometimes I drink tea unsweetened and sometimes I like to add a touch of stevia. Thanks for having this wonderful giveaway!

My favorite tea making time is brewing a big kettle-ful of tea, and sharing it with my little girls. I love reading to them while we sip a calming tea.

A Favorite Tea Story: Many years ago I visited a friend in Sweden who took me to her local tea shop in Stockholm to buy some tea. I fell in love with their local blends. eg Blueberry/Lingonberry Rooibos, Bonan’s favont, Amanda’s blandening to name a few. They are SO delicious ! I drink tea at least once and sometimes two or three times a day. i will typically save the Swedish tea for Saturday mornings when I can languish and savor it properly. My Swedish friend knows how much I love their tea and will mail it to me from Sweden. I will go to the airport and exchange $$$ for Swedish kroner and send it to my friend – my Tea Fund. Amazingly she seems to know just about when I’d run out of tea and mails me a care package. I’ve sent her some blends from the US and when I find a neat mug, or tea gadget, she gets a package from me.
I’ve signed up for your blog and look forward to your emails. I’ve tweeted on Twitter (I’m DueBaci777) and posted on my FB wall about the giveaway. I don’t have a blog or I would have posted there too.

Hey, guys! I’ve heard really great things about your tea. I subscribed to your blog AND liked you on Facebook. THANKS!
I shared your link on my facebook page….thanks, I love your site!
Well.. the story that came first to my mind was my slow conversion to many, many of my office mates while I was working. I used to bring to work a couple of large mason jars full of iced tea and fresh lemon and would sip throughout the day. At first, my coworkers couldn’t get over the fact that I used mason jars for my drinks and that I didn’t use sugar in my tea… well one by one, i was asked if they could have some tea, and soon enough, iced tea with lemon was THE drink to have in the office! and several even started drinking it out of mason jars too!
I am entering for my 20 year old daughter who adores tea. She has been drinking hot tea since she was about 15, which is different because we live in the deep south where the drink of choice is iced tea.. We have never heard of Mountainrose Herbs and would LOVE to give y’all a try.
I have been enjoying the 21st Century blend. Lovely for the holiday intensi-tea!

Having a cup of Chai every morning is wonderful. Then have a cup of herbal tea in the afternoon and one in the evening is very relaxing.
