A sachet of chamomile in a hot bath tub melts my post-holiday stress away!
Posting on FB and Twitter. Thanks for this opportunity! Enjoy the holidays!
I have subscribed to your blog and have reposed under facebook (Sandy Horner) Your peppermint tea with your awesome basil has been my stress saver from the holidays. I started skullcap for really bad PMS issues and it has been the best. plan on buying a bunch of it after the holidays
I just posted to facebook twice to share the news about Mountain Rose Herbs.
Diana your bath regime sounds absolutely fabulous. Do you put it in a tea or cloth bag so as not to clog the tub? It does sound relaxing and I wonder if you use lavender, rose petals and chamomile in the whole (herb) form? I’m looking for a way that doesn’t always include essential oils. I wonder if I could substitute poppy flower for the rose?
I make a bath tea with lavender, rose, chamomile, dead sea salt and oatmeal that is heavenly and so relaxing. Posted to my facebook too. thanks for all the great products.
I take fennel seeds and put them in steaming water, then place a washcloth in it then ring out the access water and place on my forehead. It is instant headache relif for me!
Being out in nature helps me relax rather quickly, but the weather isn’t always conducive to this kind of activity.A nice soak in the tub with herbs and candles lit is a great way to relax after the holidays. I feel better just thinking about it
Herbs have always helped me relax throughout the holidays or during any stressful time in my life. If it weren’t for a cup of hot herbal tea and a nice hot bath with lavendar bath salts, I’m not sure what I’d do! This giveaway looks amazing :0) Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!

My favorite way to relax after the holidays is a warm cup of herbal tea and a hot bath. I prefer to use lavender and clary sage essential oils (diluted in Jojoba oil) but will sometimes use the bath salts I made using MRH’s recipe.

Hi there, I’m a new subscriber…although I have “stalked” you for awhile.
I am a Massage Therapist so I know first hand (lol) the value of herbs for relaxation. My favorite is lavender. I use it in my sessions which helps my client and myself but I also use it in my hand crafted herbal hot paks and whenever I need to relax at home either via essential oil in a little lotion and massaged in or in my eye pak to soothe a nasty headache!
I shared this link on my facebook page. Oh, and I love herbs for so many things. It’s hard to list them. They make my skin feel good in products. Anice cup of tea warms the stress right out of me. I think one of the most relaxing things about them is that I don’t have to feel guilty about what I’m putting on my skin, or smelling, or eating. They are natural and safe for my body and my kids.
This is so wonderful, I shared on facebook

My favourite thing to unwind on cold winter nights here in northern Canada is to make a warm herbal bath consisting of rich lavender, rose petals and chamomile blossoms, (the scents remind me of summer!). A homemade mudpack using French green clay mixed with some honey, and a cup of organic spearmint and peppermint tea complete the spa treatment.
A relaxing and rejuvenating experience!

I love herbal tea all the time, but especially in the evenings. I hate cold weather, and it really warms me up.

I’ve never used herbs to relax before. I guess I don’t normally stress out too much. If anything I like to cuddle on the couch with hubby while watching a movie – sometimes with a cup of tea in hand.

I relax with herbs by sleeping with lavender in my pillowcase and steaming my house with rosemary from my yard on the stove top, which makes the house smell nice and cleans the air during winter time when I can’t open my doors or windows as much.

I’ve been crafting all week with MRH products! I have a 15 year old buddy whose dad died unexpectedly just before TG. His mom has to work of course, and he’s out of school for vacation. I’ve spend the week with him and we have kept busy crafting presents for his mom and sisters, playing games, watching movies, going out to lunch and just Keeping our minds and hands occupied.
We’ve made fizzy bath tarts, fizzy bath chocolates (shaped like candy, in candy papers in an old heart shaped candy box), scented body oil, bath salts, herbal mouth wash and tooth powder, and lip balm/salves. I even showed him how to make milk thistle tincture. All with MRH products. We’ve had such a great time learning new things, watching the MRH you tube, how-to videos and just having fun.

I made my very own blend of bath salts using the recipe from HerbMentor.com and Mountain Rose Herbs. I purchased everything I needed from Mountain Rose Herbs. I used a blend of three essential oils that would help relax and relieve the pain I suffer from with fibromyalgia and chronic acute back pain. I used nutmeg essential oil for it’s antispasmodic, antirheumatic, and analgesic properties; tangerine essential oil for its antispasmodic, calmative and sedative properties; and finally I chose MRH’s lavender essential oil to round out the therapeutic value of analgesic, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory actions among others.
I have used these bath salts several times per week and love them. I run a nicely warm/hot bath and place my salts in the tub after the water is run so as not to lose the benefits of the essential oils. I then light several candles, put on some relaxing music and turn out the lights and thus I can totally relax.
I love the purity of the MRH products and trust them to make my own blends. I can’t wait to try the rose facial wash, toner, facial scrub and relaxing bath salts and will be placing an order for these items as my budget allows.

I don’t even know where to start…The holiday season is a very hard one for us this year. Any help in the relaxation department would be greatly appreciated. But even with out a prize drawing we need to be reminded to cherish each moment with our loved ones and not to take one moment for granted. I am using MRH herbs and herbal products to heal from the inside out.
I have posted on facebook. Cheryl Hayes Gassen
I make a tea of Peppermint, Elder Berries, Elder Flowers, Cat Mint, Boneset, Lobelia, Red Raspberry etc. It keeps my immune system & healing system in order after being out and about. And hot tea is sooo nice. Lavender, chamomile, rose, etc. make a good pillow stuffer (in your little muslin sacks)for relaxing and a good night’s sleep. Nothing like a warm, sweet smelling bed. Also I use essential oils in the vaporizer and in lotions and oils for hair and skin that I enjoy thoroughly. A mild, pleasant whiff of smelly while shopping or working that doesn’t irritate. Herbs are full of MMmmmmmmmm’s.
Ps. I have posted on facebook.
I find that at the end of a hectic day, nothing relaxes me more than to sip a hot cup of herbal tea, while soaking in an herb infused bath imbued with a bit lavender oil. I get my candles lit, get some soothing music playing, and before I know it, all the day’s stress has left me and I can fall into a peaceful, restful slumber!
Relaxing would be so wonderful. You forget what it feels like to wind down this time of year.

herbs are very helpful in relaxation especially after a very long day…i love to use lavender essential oil in my bath….it rejuvenates my senses…
My favorite way to use herbs, other than in my tea, is to take a long soak in the tub with my favorite herbal bath salt of sea salt with lavender and rose petals. Then before I get out of the tub, I scrub down lightly with sea salt to cleanse and abrade off old skin and toxins that have clung to me. I feel so much more grounded and like a new person when I rinse and step out.
I love to take a warm shower using peppermint soap. No better way to unwind for me.
Using herbs to create new products always helps me to relax. It will be a great time to get back to the lab after the holidays.

I posted to FB.
My favorite way to de-stress during the holidays or other times is to drink a lovely mixture of rooibos, honeybush, and lavender tea (thanks to MRH for providing the quality ingredients). I also like to give myself a facial treatment with an herbal steaming, clay mask, and rose water toner. This is particularly lovely after a long hard day in the mud and muck outside… and also helps me feel a bit more like a lady after swimming in raingear in the PNW all winter.
I also posted on Facebook.
I drink a combination of chamomial & lavender teas…. not only after, but during the holidays. Helps me to not get so stressed. Very soothing & comforting.
I have been learning to make my own bath and body products and would love to try these products made from experienced makers. Essential oils are great for relaxing and I love to use flower petals with salt in my baths.

I always love a cup of tea in the evening that helps me relax. It also keeps me from eating late night left over sweets after the holidays. Which in turn helps me not stress over gaining weight!!
Herbs help me unwind after the craziness of the holidays over with soothing chamomile tea and also natural lavender bath and lotion products to assist me with sleeping.
I have already subscribed to your blog. I enjoy using my lavender herb pillow during a nap, as well as putting lavender or eucalyptus in my bath water.

Wow, who couldn’t use some pampering after the holidays? If I’m lucky enough to win this, I’m sharing it with my husband (a UPS man). A hot soak in those herbal bath salts is just what he needs after the Christmas crush!
My favorite herbal relaxation comes in the form of tea, and this time of year it’s either Winter Spice (awesome stuff!) or Fidnemed, or Fairytale, Evening Repose or Easy Day with some fresh grated ginger brewed along with with them.
Happy holidays!

I love your Rose Skin cream and Rose Facial wash.
Nothing is better than a nice sugar or salt scrub infused with almond, coconut or jojoba oil right before a warm bath. It gets rid of the dryness all over your body. I do not know about you but my skin could use a good exfoliation, soak and hydrate!

I love the way that herbs relax and soothe me in such a myriad of ways. Whether it’s the pleasure I get from indulging in a comforting soothing cup of peppermint and nettle tea with honey on a cold winters day, the scent of essential oils from my candlelit burner wafting around me and my home soothing and relaxing my senses, or a relaxing massage with St Johns wort herbal infused oil with a few drops of lavender after a busy day- mother nature is simply beautiful!
I will relax after the holidays by sipping a tea made with hops, hibiscus, and lavender.

I share on Facebook so everyone would know how awesome you are! As a LMT I think these products are a necessity for winter time relaxation and hydration of the skin.
I love a nice warm bath of herbal tea and bath flowers. Lit candles, soft music playing on my ipod, and a few drops of essential oils added to the herbal bath tea. To finish this awesome bath off before getting out a light rub of flax, olive, macadamia nut or (what ever I have on hand that is organic) oil before getting out.(My skin is real dry and itchy in the winter due to a medical condition, so I like to use my oils at the end of my bath some like it at the beginning.)I use only organic ingredients to make my bath tonics and potions which are ordered through Mountain Rose Herbs.

Ah how can anything herbal not reduce my stress, even if it is meant to awaken my senses? Even just the thought of herbs lowers my pulse, relaxes my breathing, calms my nerves. Let me get a whiff of orange or lavendar, a sip of chamomile or a touch of a sage leaf and I am transported to a quieter, gentler place. Sigh..I reconnect with nature ahhhh….
Relaxing? Who can do that? Lol… This giveaway is FOR ME! I do spend a lot of time in the bath, with whatever bath salts or essential oils are available. I do have Roman Chamomile, and Lavender. LOVE rose scents.

I just registered, and I love this website!
I just posted to facebook twice about MRH and this fabulous giveaway. Thank you MRH for your generosity this holiday season!
A wonderful hot soak is great for the fibromyalgia and acute/chronic back pain that I suffer on a regular basis. I run a hot bath, toss in a few handfuls of therapeutic bath salts, like those I made with lavender, nutmeg and tangerine for pain and relaxation. I ordered the majority of my products to make the bath salts from MRH, I already had the nutmeg and tangerine essential oils on hand.
I guess I should have been more clear. I posted to my wall in facebook and then to MRH’s facebook page as well.
As the wife of an all-natural farmer and the busy mommy of one with the second on the way, I don’t tend to have a lot of time to relax. However, at this point, one of my favorite ways to do so is with a steamy hot cup of herbal tea – particularily a mint tea!
