I just posted to facebook twice to share the news about Mountain Rose Herbs.

Diana your bath regime sounds absolutely fabulous. Do you put it in a tea or cloth bag so as not to clog the tub? It does sound relaxing and I wonder if you use lavender, rose petals and chamomile in the whole (herb) form? I’m looking for a way that doesn’t always include essential oils. I wonder if I could substitute poppy flower for the rose?

    • avatar Diana says:

I make a bath tea with lavender, rose, chamomile, dead sea salt and oatmeal that is heavenly and so relaxing. Posted to my facebook too. thanks for all the great products.

I’ve been crafting all week with MRH products! I have a 15 year old buddy whose dad died unexpectedly just before TG. His mom has to work of course, and he’s out of school for vacation. I’ve spend the week with him and we have kept busy crafting presents for his mom and sisters, playing games, watching movies, going out to lunch and just Keeping our minds and hands occupied.

We’ve made fizzy bath tarts, fizzy bath chocolates (shaped like candy, in candy papers in an old heart shaped candy box), scented body oil, bath salts, herbal mouth wash and tooth powder, and lip balm/salves. I even showed him how to make milk thistle tincture. All with MRH products. We’ve had such a great time learning new things, watching the MRH you tube, how-to videos and just having fun.

  158. avatar chgassen54 says:

I made my very own blend of bath salts using the recipe from HerbMentor.com and Mountain Rose Herbs. I purchased everything I needed from Mountain Rose Herbs. I used a blend of three essential oils that would help relax and relieve the pain I suffer from with fibromyalgia and chronic acute back pain. I used nutmeg essential oil for it’s antispasmodic, antirheumatic, and analgesic properties; tangerine essential oil for its antispasmodic, calmative and sedative properties; and finally I chose MRH’s lavender essential oil to round out the therapeutic value of analgesic, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory actions among others.

I have used these bath salts several times per week and love them. I run a nicely warm/hot bath and place my salts in the tub after the water is run so as not to lose the benefits of the essential oils. I then light several candles, put on some relaxing music and turn out the lights and thus I can totally relax.

I love the purity of the MRH products and trust them to make my own blends. I can’t wait to try the rose facial wash, toner, facial scrub and relaxing bath salts and will be placing an order for these items as my budget allows.

I have posted on facebook. (Cheryl Hayes Gassen)

I make a tea of Peppermint, Elder Berries, Elder Flowers, Cat Mint, Boneset, Lobelia, Red Raspberry etc. It keeps my immune system & healing system in order after being out and about. And hot tea is sooo nice. Lavender, chamomile, rose, etc. make a good pillow stuffer (in your little muslin sacks)for relaxing and a good night’s sleep. Nothing like a warm, sweet smelling bed. Also I use essential oils in the vaporizer and in lotions and oils for hair and skin that I enjoy thoroughly. A mild, pleasant whiff of smelly while shopping or working that doesn’t irritate. Herbs are full of MMmmmmmmmm’s.

  171. avatar The Pink Faerie says:

I find that at the end of a hectic day, nothing relaxes me more than to sip a hot cup of herbal tea, while soaking in an herb infused bath imbued with a bit lavender oil. I just posted to facebook twice about MRH and this fabulous giveaway. Thank you MRH for your generosity this holiday season!

A wonderful hot soak is great for the fibromyalgia and acute/chronic back pain that I suffer on a regular basis. I run a hot bath, toss in a few handfuls of therapeutic bath salts, like those I made with lavender, nutmeg and tangerine for pain and relaxation. I ordered the majority of my products to make the bath salts from MRH, I already had the nutmeg and tangerine essential oils on hand.

I guess I should have been more clear. I posted to my wall in facebook and then to MRH’s facebook page as well.

As the wife of an all-natural farmer and the busy mommy of one with the second on the way, I don’t tend to have a lot of time to relax. However, at this point, one of my favorite ways to do so is with a steamy hot cup of herbal tea – particularily a mint tea!

Hot ginger tea, or mint tea, or even combined. I love to boil ginger and drink the water in tea or add it to ginger ale.

Relaxing after the holidays means sitting in front of the fire with a cup of green tea and just breathing:)

I am a subscriber to your blog and I love Mountain Rose Herbs. I spend all day looking at everything I would love to buy. Herbs relax me after the holidays, I take herbal baths and drink homemade herbal teas. It also relaxes me to make homemade herbal facial products and bath kits for my friends. It’s amazing to help others relax too.
