We are excited to bring you our new handcrafted line of Alcohol-Free Glycerin Based Extracts!

Glycerites are liquid herbal extracts that use vegetable glycerin as the menstrum instead of alcohol. Because of the natural, almost nectar like sweetness of glycerin, these extracts are suitable for children and pets. They are also recommended for those with alcohol intolerance and people concerned about their liver health. Unlike alcohol extracts, glycerin extracts have a shorter shelf life of only 1-2 years.

The glycerites offered by Mountain Rose Herbs are extracted with organic vegetable glycerin via cold infusion and are Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth. Just a touch of organic rosemary antioxidant is added for stability.

    What is the source of the vegetable glycerin? I am gut intolerant to anything made from any amount of corn. It causes problems ranging from edema to migraines to joint & muscle pain. Obviously, I need to know before purchasing if this product will be safe for me. Thanks!
